The Book That Began as Letters to Her Children

MAKERS India•4 August 2020

According to Mandeep Rai, things with which we choose to define ourselves are our most important values. She adds that her book - 'The Values Compass' - is a tool that helps you understand what is most important to you. 'The Values Compass' is the result of Mandeep's travels across the world. It highlights a single, unique value that has defined each nation's history, culture, and global influence - and how we can apply them to better our own lives and make decisions more effectively. Talking to MAKERS India, Mandeep recollects the making of the book over 10 years, during which she had two children. The book is the result of the letters she started writing to her unborn children during her pregnancies, which finally became an insightful collection that will open our eyes to the world around us.
