Social media, more often than not, has been an unkind place for women journalists across the globe. Women who voice their opinions on public platforms on the internet have had to face its wrath and how, and journalist Nidhi Razdan is no stranger to vicious online trolling and cyberbullying.
While a customary look at Razdan’s Twitter profile will give one a fair understanding of how trolling is normalized in her day-to-day life on the internet, but when she made a public statement about falling into the trap of a phishing attack, that’s when the misogyny and viciousness of the trolls and just generally people on Twitter flared up. In this interview, she opens up about social media and how it has impacted her.
