The COVID-19 pandemic brought the whole world to a complete halt in 2020. In the face of the ‘new normal’ and the worst economic recession of recent times, doctors, health workers and paramedics continued to serve the nation with selfless dedication for the cause of duty and humanity.
Fast forward to the year 2021 and we are already battling Lockdown 2.0.
In this special series, we spoke to some remarkable women who made notable contributions in wake of the pandemic and stood in solidarity with others.
In our third episode, meet Aakanksha Sadekar. What started out as a small gesture of appreciation for a young doctor soon snowballed into a larger initiative for this Pune-based woman. Today, Sadekar provides around 350 tiffins a day. Watch her story to know more about this initiative.
