8 May 2021, 8:00 pm

The COVID-19 pandemic brought the whole world to a complete halt in 2020. The “new normal” and the worst economic recession of recent times have also taken a toll with millions struggling to find plasma, drugs like Remdesivir and even oxygen and food for COVID-19 patients.

As the pandemic rages on relentlessly with the second wave, people are reaching out on social media to seek information and amplify SOS posts. Many have created small to big initiatives rising to these challenging occasions, and one such story is a part of our special series. These individuals have stood in solidarity with others and enabled communities in the wake of the pandemic.

In our fourth episode, meet Vensy Krishna from Hyderabad who created the web-based app HydCovidResources. The app imparts crucial information and responses to queries that range from where to find oxygen beds, plasma, home-testing facilities to beds with ventilators. The app also caters to those who seek help for dipping saturation levels, volunteers to shift patients and food for COVID-19 patients. Watch her story to know more about this initiative.
