My Roles in Haraamkhor and Mirzapur Gave me Nightmares: Shweta Tripathi

MAKERS India•6 July 2020

Out of the many unconventional roles that actor Shweta Tripathi has played, the role of a school girl who falls prey to a lustful teacher in 'Haraamkhor' (opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui), and a college student who gets entangled in the world of criminals in 'Mirzapur' have been the most appreciated. In an interview with MAKERS India, Shweta talks about how these roles were emotionally taxing and did take a toll on her mental well-being, and hopes that the audience realises the effort an actor takes in putting across such performances.
