At MAKERS India Book Club, we recommend to you the novel Three Daughters of Eve by author Elif Shafak - a novel set in Turkey, which focuses on the protagonist growing up in a country caught between traditions and modernity. The protagonist Peri is 'The Confused' and her friends Mona and Shirin are 'The Believer' and 'The Sinner' respectively, as the trio explores religion and God in Oxford University in early 2000s.
