Our bilinear society has compartmentalized every duty between masculine and feminine and since eons men have been forced to make a living and women have been forced inside their houses to do household chores. Now when that has changed with more and more women joining the workforce in both the rural and urban sector - they still are at a loss when it comes to managing their finances.
From a farmer to a professional working in a multinational corporation, women across the board may be minting money but when it comes to managing that money by investing it and making better decisions to save more, we have often reached out to the men in our lives rather than understanding the skill ourselves. In this series - Women and Money Matters, Nisary Mahesh, Founder of HerMoneyTalks will explain the art of money management and why women must also focus on the Budget announcements which are going to happen on February 1.
